Park in the second gravel pit on your left on Wairoa Road, squeeze between the large pine tree and the fence and walk down to the small beach. There is one narrow part of the path between the fence and the water. Please take care.
Join me and thousands of others for a gentle water blessing and ceremony, connecting with the river, Mother Earth and the global Heart of Water. Together, we’ll offer gratitude, love and healing intentions for our sacred waters and all life they sustain.
This is our part of of a world-wide grid of Subtle Activism creating a Unified Field of Love.

The 1000 Goddesses Gathering Global Grid 2026 will be held in co-creative partnership with the Water Love Grid, which flows through and connects all beings on our Sacred Earth.
This annual global event is inspired by a Tibetan prophecy that when 1000 Goddesses, or Buddhist Taras, gather, the Divine Feminine will be reborn through their combined energies, and the tone of our Sacred Planet will shift from Fear to Compassion.
In 2026, we are honouring the water realms, recognising that we could not exist without them. Water sustains every living being, connects ecosystems, and has been honoured in ceremony by cultures around the world for thousands of years.
We will link our hearts with the waters around us, with reverence and gratitude, and pay homage to the deep connection between the life-giving waters and humanity.
We will sing and dance to celebrate our connection and offer our love to the waters of our beautiful planet.

I have a lifelong love of and deep concern for nature. I believe that when we reconnect with the natural world, we remember our belonging, deepen our compassion and discover more aligned ways to live.
Through my Nature Celebration full moon and seasonal gatherings, I create opportunities for people to come together in reverence, gratitude and joyful connection with the cycles of nature and the living Earth. My work is also informed by ecotherapy, which recognises the healing potential of our relationship with nature.
We are often not aware of how deeply water is integrated into our lives. We need it for our very existence, for survival, for cooking, for cleaning, for many of our recreation activities. When we intentionally connect with the spirit of water we can feel that it invites us to soften, flow, listen and remember that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.
I look forward to gathering beside the Wairoa River to offer our love and gratitude to the waters, and celebrate our shared connection with this beautiful, living planet.
